DUBAI: Miss England challenger Aysha Khan took to internet based life as of late to disclose why she wore a wetsuit in the discretionary bathing suit part of the challenge.
Khan, 21, from Lancashire posted the pictures of herself on Facebook wearing the wetsuit.
“I chose to enter the round this year, anyway I needed to push forward the message that swimwear doesn’t really mean a swimsuit,” the Education Studies understudy composed. “Strengthening can be felt from various perspectives and can be advanced from various perspectives. A few ladies may feel increasingly sure demonstrating more skin and a few ladies feel progressively certain indicating less – the message being; strengthening is an individual inclination, and not wearing a two-piece does not mean I am not sure about my body,” she inscribed the post.
The hopeful chose to participate in the discretionary round alone terms, telling the Lancashire Telegraph, “This round is totally discretionary, and I would not like to pass up a great opportunity, so I presented a photograph in a surf suit. I needed to demonstrate an alternate interpretation of swimwear, and that you don’t need to wear a swimsuit to go to the shoreline.
“I figure different young ladies can see this and understand that they can do likewise. Especially as a result of my experience, being Muslim as well, I needed to remain consistent with myself,” she included.
The exhibition’s champ will be delegated on August 1.
