TEHRAN, Iran: Iran’s parliament says speaker Ali Larijani has tried positive for the new coronavirus and is in isolate.
Larijani is the most elevated positioning authority inside Iran’s legislature to test positive for the infection and the COVID-19 disease it causes.
Parliament reported Larijani’s disease Thursday on its site, saying he was accepting treatment in isolate.
Iran has one of the world’s most noticeably terrible flare-ups of the infection.
